Little Library

  • Overview: Students will build and decorate their own little libraries.

Canvas

  • Overview: Students will assemble their own canvas and create their own original artwork.

  • Learning Objectives: Hands-on STEAM learning, develop creativity, fine motor skills, and artistic expression.

Candy Dispenser

  • Overview: Students will build and decorate their own candy dispensers.

  • Learning Objectives: Hands-on STEAM learning, understanding simple candy dispenser mechanics; exploring cause-and-effect concepts.

  • Tools: Small hammer, small screwdriver, art supplies

  • Safety/PPE: Safety glasses

Skateboard

  • Overview: Students will cut out, build, and decorate their own skateboard.

  • Learning Objectives: Hands-on STEAM learning; understanding simple skateboard mechanics, developing artistic expression.

  • Tools: Small screwdriver (or power drill to elevate skillset), small wrench, small japanese handsaw (optional), art supplies

Lamp

  • Overview: Students will build and decorate their own lamp.

  • Learning Objectives: Hands-on STEAM learning, understanding basic electrical concepts and circuitry while understanding how switches control the flow of energy

  • Tools: Small screwdriver, wire connector, and art supplies

  • Safety/PPE: Safety glasses, earmuffs

Pinball Game

  • Overview: Students will build, decorate, and play with their own Pinball game.

  • Learning Objectives: Hands-on STEAM learning; understanding angle, force, and trajectory; while developing creativity and hand-eye coordination.

Bird Feeder

  • Overview: Students will build and decorate their own bird feeders
